Security professional

for Antimalware Technology development in F-Secure Labs / Security Research in Helsinki. 

Security Research is responsible for researching new antimalware technologies and developing related components. Technologies developed here form the core of security functionality in F-Secure's products. 

In Antimalware Technologies team, you will be managing a team of top notch security professionals producing some of the most complex and core technologies used by F-Secure products. These include technologies such as Deep Guard and other low level components used by F-Secure scanning engines. In addition to managing the team you are also responsible of driving research activities within Security Research. For this there is an opportunity for senior manager / senior researcher who can lead and can grow to master antimalware technologies. 

Prerequisites

We are looking for someone who can also lead, not just manage the team and has a strong technical background in developing native Windows software. 

Suitable person for the position has solid experience in people and team management. We require the person to have good understanding of agile development and a drive for engineering excellence. Experience in anti-virus field and C++ and Python development is considered to be beneficial. 

The person needs to have good communication skill and an open mind since the work will require one to work with people from different countries and cultures. Ability to carry responsibility and work under pressure is mandatory since the position carries responsibility of important technology components that millions of F-Secure customers depend on.
